Resilience, aspiration, opportunity
We aim to unlock the potential in all of our sixth form students, enabling them to turn their aspirations into reality and achieve true success in the wider world. Our students are equipped with life enhancing skills, whilst maintaining a constant pursuit of academic excellence.
Our goal is to ensure that each and every student achieves to the best of abilities and ensure that their personal goals are within reach. We do this by focusing not only on academic excellence but also on whatever enables them to move to the next step in their journey – whether that means applying for university, pursuing an apprenticeship or starting their career.
Sixth form students are immersed in whole academy life, enabling them to receive the support of our dedicated teaching staff and, in turn, giving them the opportunity to lead and participate in all elements of our learning community.
Develop ambitious and confident learners
We aim to cultivate a passion for lifelong learning, empowering students with in-depth subject knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the confidence to challenge ideas. Our curriculum supports high aspirations, preparing students for success in higher education, apprenticeships, and employment.
Ensure inclusive and equitable access
Recognising the diverse backgrounds and abilities of our learners, we provide tailored support to overcome barriers and ensure all students, including those with additional needs, have access to a curriculum that enables them to achieve their full potential.
Foster personal growth and resilience
Our curriculum extends beyond academic achievement, embedding opportunities for character development, resilience, and emotional well-being. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning and to develop independence and self-discipline.

By integrating real-world applications, work experience, and community engagement into our curriculum, we ensure our learners are prepared to thrive in a rapidly changing global economy. Partnerships with local businesses, universities, and organisations enhance the relevance and impact of their education.
