Summer 2024 open mornings

  • Tuesday 9 July 2024, 9.30-10.30am
  • Tuesday 16 July, 9.30-10.30am

We invite families to attend a Q&A session with our principal and enjoy a small-group tour in a relaxed environment.

Our open mornings are an excellent alternative for families who would benefit from extra support with the transition period in a quieter environment than our open evening.

The application process

Nottinghamshire County Council continues to administer the admissions process for Retford Oaks Academy and entry is still based upon the admissions criteria.

Key dates

The application process for year 7 opens in August each year, closing in October, with offers made to families in the following March. Any exceptional late applications and changes to preference must be received by the local authority by December.
