In science our year 7s are crafting bee hotels!
They’ve learnt about the secret world of bees including how bees are in decline and must be protected from habitat loss.
Students then moved on to build bee hotels from the natural materials that are the perfect environment for happy safe bees. The finished hotels were camouflaged them using leaves and twigs.
The bee hotels are now hung on our academy fence for all the bees and insects to enjoy.
