In order to become an eco-school, there are several things we must do as an academy. The projects below are what we are currently up to…
- Litter – we have a team who regularly go and clean up the local area
- Waste – crisp packets and plastic stationary recycling scheme plus we are campaigning to the council about composting
- Biodiversity – Plans for a wildflower garden
- Energy – stickers have been placed on sockets as a reminder to switch things off
- Transport – following a survey about traffic, we will be holding a parent awareness campaign to help reduce air pollution before and after school
- Healthy eating – plans in progress for a vegan tuck shop with minimal waste
