The jubilee spirit is still feeling strong at Retford Oaks Academy!
The sun was shining as our students planted a tree to celebrate our Queen’s 70 years of service, in conjunction with the “Queen’s Green Canopy” initiative.
We chose to plant an oak tree to mark the occasion whilst also celebrating our namesake.
A special competition was held to design a plaque for the tree, with the winning design being submitted by Callum M.
We hope that our tree will thrive for years to come, not only as a celebration of our Queen, but also a symbol of our students as they grow and flourish.
