A number of Retford Oaks students recently entered the Young Writers Stranger Sagas competition. Students were provided with a tantalizing selection of story starters, inspiring them to write a mini-saga, a story written in just 100 words. Their hard work and creativity produced some fantastic short stories, well done to all our authors.
We are very proud to announce that an incredible forty one entries from Retford Oaks were selected for publication in the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire edition. A copy of which now proudly sits in our Learning Resource Centre.
