As well as homework which is set for all students in lessons, many students have taken on the challenge of completing optional homework activities this term. These tasks give students the opportunity to explore more deeply, learn independently and showcase their considerable skills.
Some fantastic work has been brought into the academy, including models, dioramas, posters, leaflets and research documents.
Make a model
A year 8 student completed this model of the respiratory system for Science (with a little bit of help from home!)
Create a diorama
A year 9 student created a diorama to illustrate the play that she had been studying about a car crash.
Individual research
One student created a model for PE of George A. Best who was born in Worksop and played professional football.
