Yesterday, year 12 students attended Queens Court to provide a Christmas partly for the residents.
The students provided entertainment in the form of a Christmas quiz and bingo, and there was also a live singer and pianist, allowing them to sing Happy Birthday to a resident that turns 100 on Friday. On top of the entertainment, there was also a buffet which everyone enjoyed whilst mingling and chatting.
One student dressed as Santa and presented all of the residents with a small Christmas gift, wrapped by the students and kindly donated by Morrisons.
The residents loved the afternoon and thanked the students, saying how much they enjoyed it and wanted them to repeat it again next year.
All the students were amazing, and proudly represented the academy.
