Today we welcomed Kev, Matt and Adam from the British Army into school to run a fantastic taster day for our year 9 students.
Students started the day with an interesting talk about the British Armed Forces, learning about the wide range of careers and opportunities available. They then put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test with a series of training mini-games and puzzles, giving them a small taste of the kinds of challenges faced during training.
A big thank you to Kev, Matt and Adam for giving up their time to work with our students – we’re looking forward to welcoming them back tomorrow for a second day.
