Mathematics GCSE resit

The course seeks to lift students from a grade 3 to at least a grade 4 in GCSE mathematics taking the foundation tier examination.

Maths resit course content

• consolidate previous skills and meet appropriately challenging work
• apply mathematical knowledge to solve problems
• think and communicate mathematically, precisely, logically and creatively
• appreciate the place and use of mathematics in society, and apply mathematical concepts to
• situations arising in everyday life
• work co-operatively, independently, proactively and investigatively

• three exams of 1 hour 30 mins each
