This Christmas, we are running a whole-academy initiative for Bassetlaw Food Bank – BFB, to give something back to this wonderful community which shows our academy so much support. Our aim is to help the food bank’s efforts in enabling local people to have a comfortable, dignified and enjoyable Christmas – something which many of us can very much take for granted.
We are in need of two or three large, clean and sturdy bins or containers in which we can collect these items, and would be very grateful if a local business could donate these to the academy and help us on our way to completing our charity efforts.
We will also happily and gratefully accept any donations of food bank items from our students, their families and the wider local community. These items can be dropped off in our reception area or handed in to each college by the students.
