It may be half term, but we’re still raring to go with our student spotlight!
This week’s spotlight is on Carys in year 7, who has some key advice for anyone considering secondary schools:
“Secondary school is a journey and you grow up a lot while here. The teachers, pupils and staff provide an environment where you feel safe and treated with respect. Retford Oaks isn’t like any other school – we have so many trips and opportunities here. I especially enjoy DT lessons because it’s an amazing feeling when you finish cooking a dish or building a sculpture.
It is the perfect place to be for the years of your life that are spent at school, and I hope you choose to spend it at Retford Oaks.”
