As per Retford Oaks tradition, at 11am today, every student and staff member came together for a two minutes silence outside the academy building.
This tribute was accompanied by Mr Summers playing The Lost Post on the trumpet and a heartfelt speech by Mr Hardeman.
We will remember them.
